beres is a service operated by Make It Work Solutions (Registration No. 202603182437 (003868998-X)), registered in Malaysia. This Privacy Policy explains how Make It Work Solutions ("beres", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and our B2B order-intake automation service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, and profile details you provide directly or that we receive when you sign in with a third-party identity provider.
Google account data. If you use "Sign in with Google", we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to create and authenticate your account. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service.
Order and document data. Documents, orders, and related business data you or your team submit to the Service for processing.
Demo-request information. If you request a guided demo, we collect your name, work email, company, accounting system, approximate document volume, and the optional workflow information you provide. The form does not accept invoice files or accounting credentials.
Usage and technical data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, and activity within the Service. If analytics is enabled, this also includes pages viewed and actions such as calculator use, demo requests, and outbound sign-up clicks.

2. How we use information

To create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
To provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including processing the documents and orders you submit.
To communicate with you about the Service, including support and important notices.
To respond to demo requests and understand whether our public website and onboarding are useful.
To secure the platform, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Google user data — Limited Use. beres's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google account data only to sign you in and identify your account. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers who host our infrastructure and process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
Website analytics providers. We may use Google Analytics to measure visits and conversion events across getberes.app and doc.getberes.app. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Demo-form provider. FormSubmit processes demo-request details on our behalf and sends them to demo@getberes.app. FormSubmit may retain submissions temporarily under its own privacy policy.
Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Analytics and cookies

When Google Analytics is configured, it may set or read cookies and receive technical and usage information from your browser. Cross-domain measurement is used so a visit from the public site to the beres sign-up site can be understood as one journey. You can restrict cookies in your browser or use Google's available analytics opt-out controls. Disabling analytics cookies does not prevent you from using the Service.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@getberes.app. We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@getberes.app.

8. International users

beres operates from and serves customers across Southeast Asia. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws.
